WHAT DO MY LEAGUE FEES INCLUDE?

League fees include nine (9) holes of golf, riding cart, and range balls for six (6) Sundays. Teams will play nine hole rounds of golf at Crooked River Ranch (April 6th), Eagle Crest (April 14 & April 20th), Quail Run (April 27th & May 4th) and Lost Tracks (May 11th) golf clubs. But wait... there's more. This year we are giving players a free back nine at all four courses.

WHAT IS THE FORMAT?

Two-player teams play against the field in a variety of 9-hole games including scramble, Happy Gilmore, Bingo, wild card, three-club, KP, long drive and a few fun surprises including the dreaded gilligan/mulligan/lazarus.

WHAT ARE THE RULES AND REGULATIONS?

The BBL fully supports responsible, social fun for all players. The main rule is... be cool. This is truly about soaking in some vitamin D, making friends and enjoying the game of golf.

 

HOW MANY TEAMS CAN SIGN UP?

There are twelve (12) team spots available for this season... aka twenty-four (24) players.

HOW MANY PLAYERS PER TEAM?

Each team needs two (2) players to compete each week. If you are unable to make one (or more) of your tee times, please let us know who will be replacing you and what handicap they carry.

WHAT SKILL LEVEL IS ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE?

Everyone and anyone. Whether you are an ex-club pro, or just getting started, we invite you to join us. The maximum handicap that you can carry into competition is a twenty (20), but if your handicap is higher, fear not... you can still play.

HOW MANY GAMES WILL MY TEAM PLAY?

The season is set to play in six (6) different tournament style games.

WHEN DOES THE SEASON START?

The season will begin on Sunday, April 6th, 2024 with the last week of the season being played on Sunday, May 11th, 2025... weather permitting.

WHAT IF SOMETHING (LIKE WILDFIRES) RUINS THE FUN?

Teams may be refunded if we are not able to reschedule due to unforeseen weather issues.

WILL THERE BE OFFICIATING?

No. This is, for lack of a better term, a "gentlemen's" or "gentleperson's" league. All rules will be self enforced.

WHICH DAY OF THE WEEK ARE THE GAMES?

Matches will be held on Sundays.

WHAT TIME ARE THE GAMES?

Tee times will start around 1:00pm and run about every 10 minutes (or shotgun starts are also a possibility).

HOW LONG ARE THE GAMES?

Plan for your round to take about 2 to 3 hours for nine holes and 4 to 6 hours for 18 holes.

WILL THERE BE BEER?

Ah, yes. It is called the Virtual Guild. But that does not mean BYOB. Please refrain from bringing any alcohol to the games as it is strictly prohibited. The bar and restaurant will be open for food and drinks... and happy to serve you libations.
